The first step of any visual identity project is to understand the authentic character of the organisation in question. Is it modern or traditional? Established or disruptive? Formal or informal? Well understood or misperceived?

We carry out this analysis for every project we take on in order to understand our client and their industry. We then examine their existing visual identity and consider whether it accurately reflects the organisation’s true character. Where there’s a mismatch, it really has to be addressed. This could be through an evolution of the brand a potentially a wholesale rebranding project.

We have extensive experience of creating new brands from scratch, refining an established visual identity to reflect the evolution of an organisation or rebranding an organisation with a completely new set of brand assets. 

This is often combined with a Brand Narrative Development project so that the visual identity and the brand narrative work together to be clear, coherent and consistent.
