Celebrating over 90 years of educational excellence, St Julian’s School in Carcavelos, Portugal, combines rich history with a future focussed approach to learning.
Perfectly situated between the beaches and the city, St Julian’s provides a unique environment where academic achievement is balanced with wellbeing, inclusivity and personal growth. The school’s deep-rooted sense of community, bilingual curriculum and dedication to nurturing compassionate, curious learners make it a truly distinctive place to learn, grow and thrive.
We undertook extensive stakeholder research at the start of the project, allowing us to fully understand their evolving identity as one of Europe’s leading independent schools and shape a new website that authentically reflects their culture, communicates their strengths and supports parents, students and prospective families.
Our design and content strategy highlights St Julian’s heritage while embracing its modern, progressive outlook. Through bold visuals, carefully curated photography, and engaging storytelling, we showcase the school’s historic architecture, beautiful location, vibrant campus life, and commitment to student wellbeing.
The homepage experience emphasises the school’s core strengths, from academic excellence and unique bilingual curriculum to breathtaking outdoor spaces and community outreach. Alumni success stories featured on the homepage and other key landing pages illustrate the lasting impact of a St Julian’s education.
The new website reflects the warmth, energy, and inclusivity of the St Julian’s community. Clear, intuitive navigation guides prospective families to key actions such as arranging visits and applying. Playful illustrations, slick animations and contemporary brand application communicate a sense of joy and purpose.
The result is a modern, welcoming digital platform that balances history and heritage with innovation and inspires families to become part of St Julian’s vibrant learning community.
We are very happy with the end result and the feedback from our community so far has been very positive. We really appreciate your support throughout the project.
