St Edmund’s is a unique Cambridge college for mature students, defined by its international outlook, egalitarian ethos and commitment to tackling global challenges.

With a diverse student body, contemporary campus, and a warm, community-driven culture, the college offers a distinctive alternative to the more traditional Cambridge experience.

St Edmund’s previous website no longer communicated this identity with clarity or confidence. Our brief was to create a modern, immersive and intuitive website that showcases what makes St Edmund’s a first-choice college for postgraduate and mature undergraduate applicants, highlighting its world-class academic environment, inclusive community and exceptional student experience.

Our Research & Discovery phase highlighted what makes St Edmund’s truly distinctive: it’s international community, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, modern facilities and mission to empower students to shape the future.

We evolved the brand to reflect this personality, using bold colour, dynamic gradients and contemporary typography to create a visual identity that feels unmistakably St Edmund’s: confident, warm and internationally minded.

The homepage immerses prospective students in the college’s strengths through immersive storytelling sections, showcasing world-class academics, global diversity, modern accommodation and vibrant student life. Rich photography, quotes and student-led perspectives bring each section to life, creating a personal and engaging journey through the college.

Across the site, key landing pages celebrate St Edmund’s approachable culture and inclusive ethos. Spacious layouts reflect the calm, green campus, modern visuals echo the contemporary architecture, and student voices are woven throughout to reinforce authenticity and belonging, presenting St Edmund’s as a world-class yet welcoming place where students can truly thrive.

The website looks amazing, thank you so much for everything – we’ve really enjoyed working with the TWK team. The website continues to be well received by the St Edmund’s community. I am also convinced that the successful launch of this website project has demonstrated the importance and value impact of marketing and communications to the organisation, resulting in an increased marketing budget and potential to recruit new staff.
