LWC Drinks are the UK’s largest independent drinks wholesaler of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
With over 1,600 employees, 17 depots and a next-day delivery service covering the whole of the UK, LWC is a market leader built on scale, expertise and long-standing relationships. LWC’s refreshed brand identity marks an important moment for the business. Our challenge was to translate that evolution into a modern website that reflects their professionalism and depth of expertise, while retaining the warmth, approachability and personal service that set them apart from larger, more corporate competitors.
A digital platform that feels as personal as LWC’s service.
Our approach focused on reinforcing LWC’s role as a trusted partner to the on-trade, rather than simply a supplier. Using candid photography of real people, venues and environments, we created a human and authentic visual language that mirrors the relationships LWC’s account managers build every day.
We refined the existing brand through more consistent use of typography and colour, introducing subtle new elements to bring greater clarity and flexibility across the site. Alongside this, we designed an interactive service finder tool that guides users based on their business type, size and interests – capturing valuable insight while delivering tailored recommendations that demonstrate how LWC supports different customers in different ways.
Throughout the site, content is structured to clearly communicate LWC’s scale, product range and expertise without feeling overwhelming, striking a careful balance between authority and approachability.
The finished website positions LWC Drinks as what they truly are: industry experts with national reach and a genuinely personal approach. Confident without being corporate, professional without being impersonal, the new platform provides a clear, engaging experience for customers of all sizes, from local independents to large-scale events.
I want to say a huge thank you to the TWK team. The business has a site we can finally be proud of, and the feedback so far has been very positive.
