Our Team

The Web Kitchen is based around a highly talented team of web designers and developers, dedicated to providing the best possible service for our clients. Each member brings complementary skills to the table, allowing us to take on a diverse range of jobs, as well as collaborating on large multi-discipline projects. In this way, we have worked for well known brands, charities, galleries, schools and universities.

The company was founded by Rob Stone and Julian Arnold after leaving Oxford University in 2005. We continue to grow each year but have maintained our core team, which benefits from a high level of mutual understanding. Rob (Managing Director) runs the new business and consulting side of the company, as well as being lead project manager. Julian (Creative Director) is joined by Patrick Williams (Senior Designer), both fine art graduates from Oxford, in running our design team.

The development team is led by David Wardle, who studied computer science at the University of East Anglia. David has previously worked as a systems designer for Citgroup, as well as Kelkoo, Yahoo and Auctioning4U. David is joined by Dean Oakley (Web Developer), another computer science graduate from Griffith University, Australia. Joze Covic’s (Designer-Developer) large skill base allows him to move effortlessly between graphical design and programming code.

TWK works alongside creative agencies including Together Design and Buro Creative. We recommend Sketch Media for film production and Lingoleaf for translation services and copy-editing.
